Park Hyatt Residences Mexico City

Under construction

The residences

The name licensed to this project and carried on the building. A brand is not a company: it holds no title, builds nothing and runs nothing.
Park Hyatt
The business the brand comes from — hotel, fashion, design, automotive, restaurant, club, or a developer’s own name.
Hotel
How many separately titled homes this project sells, counting every kind it sells. Where it sells more than one kind, each is named and its own count given.
23
The kinds of home offered — villas, condos, penthouses, lots — and how they break down. Not how many, and not what interest is sold.
West Residence 531 m², East Residence 492 m², Penthouse 1,046 m²
Whether a hotel shares the site, the building is mixed-use, or it is residences only.

The residences' own site, SOMA's 2021 announcement and the August 2025 trade report were each read and state no sales launch. A brokerage page lists the residences as 'Preventa' without giving a start date.

The most recent opened page still gives a future opening date and the residences' own site states no completion; no opened page states the hotel or the residences have opened.

How this project is structuredTwo towers at Andrés Bello 192 in Polanco, beside the Chapultepec Forest, holding 23 Park Hyatt residences above a hotel that occupies floors six to eighteen, plus corporate offices. SOMA is the Developer and is solely responsible for the marketing and sale of the residences; Hyatt International Corporation granted it the right to offer and sell them. Architecture is by Sordo Madaleno, interiors by George Wong, and completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026 to LEED Gold standards.

These city projects carry coordinates derived from street geometry rather than from a mapped building.

  • Street-corner and street-segment coordinatesAll three sites are under construction and none is mapped as a building in OpenStreetMap. Park Hyatt takes the Andrés Bello and Campos Elíseos corner against its stated address of Andrés Bello 192; Armani takes the Masaryk and Molière corner, the only location its developer publishes; Pendry takes the Calle Durango segment at Salamanca against its stated address of Durango 259. Each is a corner or block rather than a parcel.source ↗

Whether George Wong and George Wong Design are the same interior design studio.

  • George Wong DesignThe residences' own site credits the interiors of Park Hyatt Residences Mexico City to George Wong Design.source ↗
  • George WongThe interior credit on this project is recorded as George Wong without the studio suffix. The residences' own site is the only page found naming the studio for this project, and it carries no other form of the name.source ↗

Whether SOMA and Sordo Madaleno are one company, given that both appear on the same project in different roles.

  • One group under two namesThe developer's own 2021 announcement of Park Hyatt Mexico City is published on soma.group and describes the project as by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos; the residences' own site names SOMA as the Developer and Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos as the architect on the same building.source ↗
  • Two companies with distinct rolesThe residences' site sets them out separately: SOMA is the entity responsible for marketing and sale and the holder of Hyatt's right to sell, while Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos is described as a Mexico City architecture firm with 85 years of design experience. Sordo Madaleno is the architect of Armani Residences Masaryk, where SOMA has no role.source ↗
