Under construction

The residences

The name licensed to this project and carried on the building. A brand is not a company: it holds no title, builds nothing and runs nothing.
St. Regis
The business the brand comes from — hotel, fashion, design, automotive, restaurant, club, or a developer’s own name.
Hotel
How many separately titled homes this project sells, counting every kind it sells. Where it sells more than one kind, each is named and its own count given.
320

Who is behind it

The company that runs properties under this project’s brand and sets the standards carried under it. It need not own the name — who owns it is the brand licensor.
Marriott International
The party that promotes the project and carries it through to delivery. May also hold title to part of it — being one does not make it the other.
Fortune International Group · Château Group
The practice or individual who designed the building.
Arquitectonica
The practice or individual who designed the interiors.
Anastassiadis
The party the brand name was licensed to for this project. A contract for a name — it carries no title and no duty to run the property.
La Playa Beach Associates, LLCNamed in the project's own legal disclaimer as the party using the St. Regis brand under licence.

How this project is structuredTwo 62-storey towers at 18801 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, developed by Fortune International Group and Château Group with architecture by Arquitectonica and interiors by Anastassiadis. Both towers carry that single street address on the project’s own site and on both opened building records, and are sold as one offering with two separately specified towers. The project’s own disclaimer states the residences are not owned, developed or sold by Marriott International, and that La Playa Beach Associates, LLC uses the St. Regis brand under licence from Marriott.
