Operating

The residences

The name licensed to this project and carried on the building. A brand is not a company: it holds no title, builds nothing and runs nothing.
The Langham
The business the brand comes from — hotel, fashion, design, automotive, restaurant, club, or a developer’s own name.
Hotel
How many separately titled homes this project sells, counting every kind it sells. Where it sells more than one kind, each is named and its own count given.
184
The kinds of home offered — villas, condos, penthouses, lots — and how they break down. Not how many, and not what interest is sold.
one-bedroom to more than six-bedroom condominiums
The interest a buyer takes: whole ownership, a share of one residence, or a right to use it.
Whole ownership
Whether a hotel shares the site, the building is mixed-use, or it is residences only.
Hotel on site
When its residences were first released for sale.
No opened page states when residential sales opened. The residences were being marketed as The Setai Fifth Avenue Residences before the tower opened in 2010.
When the residences were handed over to buyers.
2010

Who is behind it

The company that runs properties under this project’s brand and sets the standards carried under it. It need not own the name — who owns it is the brand licensor.

How this project is structuredBizzi & Partners developed the 60-storey tower at 400 Fifth Avenue, where the condominium residences sit above a 214-room hotel. 400 Fifth Realty LLC sold the hotel to Great Eagle Group in 2012, and it was reintroduced as Langham Place in January 2013 under Langham Hospitality Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Great Eagle Group. Residents reach their homes through a separate entrance on 36th Street and can draw room service and concierge service from the hotel.
