Cipriani Club Residences
The residences
- The name licensed to this project and carried on the building. A brand is not a company: it holds no title, builds nothing and runs nothing.
- Cipriani
- The business the brand comes from — hotel, fashion, design, automotive, restaurant, club, or a developer’s own name.
- Restaurant-led
- How many separately titled homes this project sells, counting every kind it sells. Where it sells more than one kind, each is named and its own count given.
- 101
- The kinds of home offered — villas, condos, penthouses, lots — and how they break down. Not how many, and not what interest is sold.
- Furnished studio to three-bedroom condominium apartments
- The interest a buyer takes: whole ownership, a share of one residence, or a right to use it.
- Whole ownership
- Whether a hotel shares the site, the building is mixed-use, or it is residences only.
- Inside a mixed-use building
- When its residences were first released for sale.
- No opened page states when the residences were first offered for sale; the developer's own page dates the purchase of the building to 2005.
- When the residences were handed over to buyers.
- 2006

How this project is structuredWitkoff bought 55 Wall Street in 2005 and converted the Greek Revival building into a Cipriani-branded condominium with a private club, an event space and a restaurant. The building review names Giuseppe Cipriani and Sidney Kimmel as partners in the conversion and credits the apartment design to Tsao & McKown. Cipriani licenses its name here; no opened page names a company operating the residences.
