Developer Grupo SITUR, MEGALAND, Grupo PlanSince 1993 Ceiba Inmobiliaria's portfolio entry for El Tamarindo dates the project to 1993 and states that its creators were Grupo SITUR with the participation of MEGALAND and Grupo Plan, headed by architect Luis Bosoms; the same entry gives Ceiba's own part, with partner Jose Ignacio Rubio, as the opening of roads, infrastructure services, the first 16 villas on the bay and the construction of the golf course. A 2016 regional real-estate article gives the development as originally developed by Grupo Situr in the late 1990s. -
Building manager not found No opened page names a company administering the El Tamarindo estate, its community association or its service charges. The Four Seasons and trade releases speak only of the resort and the 25 residences standing inside the reserve, and a 2023 article on the reserve names Four Seasons only as the operator of the lodging within it.

Holds title to Roberto Hernandez A regional real-estate article published 20 June 2016 describes Tamarindo as a 150-hectare development within the Tenacatita region owned by businessman and banker Roberto Hernandez. No opened page states when that holding began or whether it has ended, and the 2016 figure of 150 hectares does not agree with the 849 hectares (2,100 acres) the 2020 launch release gives for the El Tamarindo master planned development or the 1,200 hectares (3,000 acres) later releases give for the reserve.
