Developer OHL Desarrollos Described as part of the Spanish group OHL (Obrascón Huarte Lain), and as having inaugurated Mayakoba in 2005 with the El Camaleón golf course. OHLA's own portfolio entry for the complex records a first phase of 250 hectares and 11 km of navigable canals.
Building manager not found No opened page names a company administering the Mayakoba estate. Mayakoba's own history page names only Golf de Mayakoba, S.A. de C.V., of GRUPO RLH, and names it as the controller in its privacy notice rather than as an estate administrator; the OHLA portfolio entry and the reports of the 2018 sale name no company running the complex.
Holds title to RLH Properties (BMV: RLH)Since 2018 RLH Properties' 2025 annual report to the BMV states the issuer owns the hotel and associated residential assets and names the subsidiary holding the real property under each — "Islas de Mayakoba, S.A. de C.V., subsidiaria de la Emisora y propietaria del inmueble en donde se ubica el Hotel Rosewood Mayakoba". Title runs asset by asset through those companies and no opened page names a single holder of the whole 240-hectare complex. OHL Desarrollos' participation passed to RLH in two sales, a first in 2016 and the remainder on 26 January 2018, and no opened page records OHL retaining anything after October 2019.
